At their next meeting Carfax Lodge will be presenting “An Explanation of the First Degree Tracing Board.”
The explanation is not permitted at Initiations in Sussex and has to be given on a separate occasion. It consists of relevant extracts from the much longer “Lectures of the Three Degrees in Craft Masonry.” In particular, parts 3 to 7 of the First Lecture. The introductory paragraph is from Preson’s “Illustrations of Masonry.”
This is an opportunity for new Initiates and anyone not familiar with the symbolism of tracing board to hear it described and explained.
