On Saturday 17th July, a team of North Group Masons volunteered to marshal the fun run at the Hurstpierpoint St Lawrence Fair.
Since the 14th century, the village of Hurstpierpoint has celebrated the Feast of St Lawrence with a village fair. The fair is one of the oldest in the United Kingdom.
Our team of athletic volunteers opted not to take part in the run itself, but to act as marshals to ensure the runners stuck to the route and didn’t get lost in the Sussex countryside.
