At 10am on Saturday 28th March 16 members of the North Group management team met at Crawley Masonic Hall to begin an epic 28 hour static bike ride as a MY28 Challenge for the MCF 2028 Festival.
Mark Scott provided the equipment and we were hooked up through “Zwift” to thousands of cyclists worldwide.
Taking shifts of between 20 minutes and 2 hours, we kept going for 28 hours and completed 415 miles.
When the going got tough, and as the hard racing saddles took their toll, more bikes with more comfortable seats arrived.
Towards the end all the other cyclists on Zwift could see our total distance and they all gave us a boost as they commented or gave us a thumbs-up as they passed.
